By requesting a quote or booking an appointment with Nova Lane Notary, you agree to these terms. Please read them.
Our services
Nova Lane Notary provides mobile notary public services in Arcadia, Pasadena, Monrovia and nearby — we travel to you to notarize signatures. A notary public verifies the identity of signers and witnesses signatures; a notary is not an attorneyand cannot give legal advice, prepare legal documents, or advise which notarial act or document you need. For legal questions, please consult a licensed attorney.
Identification and appointments
Every signer must present a valid, current, government-issued photo ID at the appointment, and every signer must be physically present. If these conditions are not met, we may be legally unable to complete the notarization.
Fees, deposits, and payment
Notarial fees are set by CA law; travel is a separate, disclosed convenience fee quoted in advance. A deposit may be required to reserve your appointment; it is applied toward your total and is non-refundable if you no-show or cancel at the last minute. Any remaining balance is due at the appointment. For short-notice requests that require our confirmation, payment terms are arranged when the appointment is confirmed. Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider.
Rescheduling and cancellation
Please give as much notice as possible to reschedule or cancel. Deposits for confirmed appointments are non-refundable for no-shows or last-minute cancellations, as described above.
SMS / text messaging
If you provide a mobile number, you may receive booking-related texts. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your number.
Limitation of liability
Our services are provided on a reasonable-care basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service at issue, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of CA.
Changes
We may update these terms; the effective date above reflects the current version.
