Nova Lane Notary ("we," "us") is a mobile notary service serving Arcadia, Pasadena, Monrovia and nearby. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We value your privacy and do not sell your information.
Information we collect
When you request a quote or book an appointment, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, phone number (if you choose to give one), the service address, and details about the documents to be notarized. We also keep a record of your booking conversation. Payments are processed by our payment provider (Stripe); we do not store your full card details.
How we use your information
We use your information solely to provide notary services: to prepare a quote, schedule and confirm your appointment, communicate with you about your booking, and process any deposit or payment. We do not use it for unrelated marketing.
SMS / text messaging
If you provide a mobile number, you may receive booking-related text messages (such as confirmations, scheduling, and reminders). Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. We do not share your mobile number or your consent to receive messages with any third parties for their own marketing purposes.
How we share information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us operate — for example, our scheduling, email, text-messaging, and payment providers — and only as needed to deliver the service you requested. These providers are bound to protect your information. We may also disclose information if required by law.
Data security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep your data safe.
Your choices
You can opt out of text messages any time by replying STOP. You may contact us to ask what information we hold about you or to request its deletion, subject to any records we are required to keep.
Children
Our services are not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above reflects the most recent version.
